Install on Windows
Unzip, then double-click install-windows.bat. Restart Premiere, then open Window → Extensions → Sinhala Subtitles.
Install on macOS
Unzip, then in Terminal run chmod +x install-mac.sh and ./install-mac.sh. Restart Premiere, then open Window → Extensions.
Both installer scripts are plain text — open them first if you want to see exactly what they do. They only touch your own user profile, so no admin rights are needed.

Can I download it before I pay?
Yes. The download is the complete add-on — install it and look around. A licence key activates it on your machine, and the Settings tab lets you deactivate to move that key to another computer.
How accurate are the subtitles?
Clear speech transcribes very well. For difficult audio — music underneath, fast speech, several voices — switch the model from Flash to Pro in Settings. Every line is editable in the panel before it touches your timeline.
Do I need a Gemini API key?
Yes, and it is free. Create one at aistudio.google.com under API keys, paste it into the Settings tab and press Save Key. It is stored only on that machine, and Test is there if it ever stops answering.
Can I use FM fonts?
Yes. Convert all to FM font turns the whole subtitle list into FM Abhaya in one click, and the Converter tab works on its own for any text you paste in — no website, no second app.
Does it need an audio export preset?
It needs an audio-only preset to pull sound out of your sequence. Find & use my WAV preset scans what is already in Premiere and Media Encoder; if you have none, make one from the Export panel with video unchecked, then scan again.
Will it mess up my sequence?
Captions are added as their own track, and nothing else in your sequence is touched. You review and edit every line inside the panel before anything is added.
How do I activate the add-on?
Pay by bank transfer, send the slip and your details on WhatsApp, and you get a licence key. Paste it into the panel once and that machine stays active until you deactivate it.
Which versions of Premiere are supported?
Premiere Pro 2024, 2025 and 2026, on both Windows and macOS. The panel opens from Window → Extensions once installed.
